Kyohei Sakaguchi / Architecture Explorer (Born in 1978)
Mr. Sakaguchi graduated Waseda University, Faculty of Engineering,
Department of Architecture in 2001.
During his diploma at university, he started to wonder about the role of
architects who build large scale modern architectures. Since then, he has
been looking for an architecture of essential human life. His main role is
architecture explorer or artist, but he also works as a painter, columnist
and musician. Mr. Sakaguchi has written books covering the life of homeless
people around the Sumida River “Tokyo Zero Yen House Zero Yen Life” (Daiwa
Shobo), a novel “Edison in Sumida River” (Aoyama Publishing), and “Tokyo
Hitotsubo Property” (Shunjusha Publishing), which tells of the charm of
micro spaces existing on the street.
Toshihito Kayano, Ph.D. / Adjunct Professor of Tsuda College, Faculty of
Liberal Arts Dept. of International and Cultural Studies. Philosopher (Born
in 1970)
Mr. Kayano graduated from the Doctoral program of Paris X University
Nanterre, Department of Philosophy in 2003. He has written books including
“Qu'est-ce que l'E'tat?”, (Ibunsha) and “The Genealogy of Money and
Violence.” (Kawade Shobo Shinsha Publishers), and he is a coauthor of
“Difficulty of Living – Poverty, Identity and Nationalism” (Kobunsha
Publishing).
