2010.1.16 Sat “Toward Tokyo without ‘Walls’”
Yoshiharu Tsukamoto (Atelier Bow-Wow / Architect) x Ayumu Yasutomi (Professor at the Institute of Oriental Culture, The University of Tokyo / Social Scientist)
Vibrant social environments occur where rich and productive communication links people. However, observing our society, it seems there are both physical and metaphorical walls which segregate people’s minds. This lecture aims to explore Tokyo as a city where individuals can exercise their imagination and creativity beyond such “walls”.
*This lecture is also a part of the "Tokyo Artpoint Project" intern program.
