Media Center of Students 7ch.

Media Center of Students 7ch. is an web TV broadcast initiated by art students and involves a number of participants that provides an example in the forward direction for new cross media communication.

It is based in the art center 3331 Arts Chiyoda, which opened in 2010 in the Chiyoda Ward. Using web services such as Ustream and Twitter, it reports on site from a number of citywide and nationwide art activities, such as those connected with the Tokyo Artpoint Project, and communicates the information in real time.

Independent events such as the Nanairo Festival are also being planned, building on the networks and knowledge that have been gained from the art activity reports. These cross-sectional activities are based on the watchwords “report-communication-event.”
