TERATOTERA
Transit on-going art by connecting the art spots
Suginami and Musashino areas where many artists and writers have lived since long ago are one of the most popular towns to live among the young people today. Nevertheless there are many galleries, theaters and other art spots in the area, the network of cultural community as a whole is not yet fully established.
“TERATOTERA” aims to link the dots of such art spots, in order to deliver the on-going sensational art movement in this area to the world. Furthermore, various Various programs to stimulate people’s sensitivity will be developed.

Directors of each local art institutes organize range of talks and workshops applying their activitie and connections.

■TERATOTERA Relay Talk vol.01 ”TERATOTERA Core Night” (working title)
As the first memorial public event, a symposium by local art sites staffs, administrative officials and artists, and performance, music concert, video screening and more will take place.

Venue: To be announced (one of the live houses in Musashino / Suginami area)

Making Art Map and Website
Making an art map and website covering the information in TERATOTERA area, the program offers an access to the cultural activities of one’s interest in the community for all the people, such as local inhabitants and visitors of the area.

●About TERATOTERA
The organization is run by the three main staff: Nozomu Ogawa (project leader) who is also a manager of “Art Center Ongoing” in Kichijoji(2008~); Makoto Kunitoki who designs and produces his own fashion brand in Nishi-ogikubo and runs art events space “STORE”(2008~); Ayako Osanai who is also a designer as well as an art project coordinator.
