About the Festival
Through international festivals that are globally competitive and at which diverse people from Japan and the world gather, we enrich the creative activities in the arts and culture in Tokyo and raise the visibility of the city as a global hub for artistic and cultural creation and exchange, of which movements should draw international attention.
In cooperation with art and culture organizations and municipal cultural facilities, we develop international festivals that cover diverse fields such as traditional culture, theatre, music, fine art and visual arts.
