Next Masters Tokyo 2010

Outline

“The Next Masters Tokyo 2010” endeavors to create the next generation of master filmmakers, and to explore the ideal future for both the city of Tokyo and cinematic culture. About 20 young Japanese and Asian filmmakers aspiring to become film directors are invited to Tokyo to attend the program comprised of lectures given by professionals and joint review meetings. The project objective is to provide these young participants with inspirational experiences through these activities as well as a platform for networking among them and associated film professionals. The project also aims to make Tokyo “a city where filmmakers meet and interact”.
