Roppongi Art Night is an art festival set in the town of Roppongi. The purpose of the festival is to suggest a new lifestyle ― “Enjoying art in daily life” and to create a new model of urban development in metropolitan Tokyo.
This year too, participating cultural facilities will extend their opening hours and offer various types of art, including outdoor installations and special programs.

The music festival "Music Weeks in TOKYO 2011" will be held with the aim of bringing new energy to the music culture of Tokyo and boosting creativity. With an eye toward Tokyo's status as a leading global choral city, an array of programs will be promoted in integrated fashion with participation and artistic creativity as features of the events, centering on the theme of "voice." We will advance this music festival to stimulate the creative environment for arts and culture to create new things and disseminate them from Tokyo to the world in its capacity as an art and culture city.

This year's "Tokyo Traditional Arts Program" has three core programs so that many people may participate by exceeding the generation through one year.
