TOKYO JAZZ MUSIC SCHOOL “Chie Ayado Jazz for Kids”
Synopsis
Japan’s biggest jazz festival, “TOKYO JAZZ,” will provide, in cooperation with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Culture Creation Project (Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture), jazz workshops for children with the goal of nurturing them through music. In these workshops, children will gain an experience of achievement by giving a performance before a large audience, and learn of the satisfaction that music can give, through the passionate training of Ms. Chie Ayado.
Welcoming Ms. Chie Ayado and Mr. Nobuo Hara as instructors, a brass band or a big band consisting of elementary school students will be selected, and a public band workshop will be given for them at the Plaza Special Stage in Tokyo International Forum.
